Is funny now people ask to be promote by time just because IBJJF put minimum time for each belt. Don't forget is minimum, NOT maximum
If you ask me for belt because you already pass your minimum time in your belt you going to double your minimum time.
Promotion for me is about understand what each belt means, NOT time
At Carlson Gracie Academy if you asked about promotion you got at least a big
Are you Crazy, go training and when I see you care more about BJJ lifestyle than the color of your belt you going to be promote

There are many reasons why we are bringing Renato Tavares and why you have to attend to this seminar:
He is a 5th degree BJJ Black Belt, head coach at ATT Vero Beach Beach, and one of the best Carlson Gracie’s black belts of all times. He unites the years and years of experience plus a current, aggressive, and effective game tested in major tournaments. Renato is still one of the most active competitors in the BJJ circuit.
Renato Tavares is a world renowned authority in the area of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Grappling Enhancement and is one of the best coaches in grappling activity. His thirst for knowledge has made Renato a technician par excellence. Tavares has been training for about 36 years and competing for more than 30 years.
Renato began competing in tournaments at age eight. He has competed in over 100 different tournaments and almost 500 competition matches. Winning most of them. He has titles like International Champion, Pan American Champion, many States Championships, and in many tournaments he was considered the best technical athlete of the whole tournaments.
