Jiu-Jitsu in my opinion is never going to stop to grow,” said Royler as transcribed by Kelsey Mowatt. “This is going to be forever you know? And that’s because, in my opinion, the little kid, four years old, five years old, they can train in, and 75 years old, 80 years old they can still train in. In MMA it’s kind of a small hit you know? You can say 17, 16, to 35. After that you start getting old and before that you start to be young. That’s why I say Jiu-Jitsu is a big hit for a lot more people.

UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is as sharp on her interviews as she is on her fights.
Her latest comments during a media day this Tuesday have been making waves in the grappling community.
She said that her goals as an athlete are not limited to the UFC octagon.
“I want to be remembered as one of the greatest fighters of all time in any sport. I would love to have a chance to be the boxing world champion, I would love to have a chance to be the Jiu-Jitsu world champion, and I would love to have the chance to beat the previous world champions and just be the best of all at one point,” said Ronda, who already has a olympic bronze medal, conquered at the 2008 Beijing games.
That’s not the first time Ronda says that she wants to venture herself against Jiu-Jitsu champions in a grappling environment.

Lack Of Financial Support Center Of Black Belt Champion Protest
The Brasileiro No Gi Open was held last weekend and Thiago Gaia emerged as the champion. Yet his accomplishment, though impressive, was not the highlight of the event. It was his silent protest during the awarding ceremony that drew the most attention from the media.
Gaia held up a sign that said “#Fighters don’t eat medals” while holding his gold on the podium. He posted a photo of the incident on Instagram reiterating that fighters deserve more than tokens for their hard work. He accused the organizations that govern BJJ of exploiting the athletes and called for greater financial support.

Rodolfo Vieira MMA Career Update: Will Train At ATT
The hot news from Rio de Janeiro is that Rodolfo Vieira will likely go to train at American Top Team in Florida to focus on his upcoming move into MMA.
ATT co-founder Ricardo Liborio - who featured in a superfight at the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships in August - was reportedly impressed with Vieira's 99kg gold medal-winning performance in the tournament and extended an offer to train with his team.
GF Team founder Julio Cesar Pereira, Vieira's jiu-jitsu coach and the man who awarded the five-time IBJJF world champion his black belt, said he feels ATT would be a good place for Vieira to develop his MMA skills.
